On 5th December the Church welcomed Year 3 children from St Catherine’s RC School , Bridport, to a Christingle. 28 children and 5 adults joined parishioners to help the children prepare the Christingles, process around the church and sing carols in front of the beautiful crib. There was a talk and discussion and then the children came into the museum for a delicious tea. Fr Keith joined us and talked to the children about the meaning of Christmas and the symbolism of the Christingles.
