Dorset Architectural Heritage Week runs from 9 – 17th, when the Sacristy will be specially opened from 2-4 pm to show the wall paintings, Fra Newbery painting of the Chideock martyrs, and the old barn chapel from penal times. Also open will be the Weld Memorial Chapel next to St Giles, with its well-preserved 19th century murals.
